Today.
What is today?
This present moment.
This breath, you're breathing now.
Our thoughts do not seem to be confined by time. They drift haphazardly between the past, the present, and the future, drawing up old memories and regrets, joys, and pain.
The future blooms like hope upon some distant horizon, encouraging us to lift our eyes higher, breathe deeper, and wish for favorable outcomes to our efforts. Just as often, we are met with a phalanx of anxieties, their crushing March attempting to grind us down.
But we do not exist there. We exist here. Now. In this time. In this moment. We are quite within our power to cut the bonds of painful memory or our many daunting futures and be completely autonomous, emancipated, and free in the present.
It is my hope that today is the best day of your life. My prayer for all of us is that we take a moment to breathe deeply and feel what it is like to just purely exist. It only takes a minute, but in that minute, we can let go of all of our fears and worries, regrets and anxieties, and just be.
We are such beautiful and wonderful creatures when we find ourselves unfettered by the chains we place upon ourselves. Yesterday can be great, and tomorrow may hold moments we can not dream of, but we are alive here, and now, and it is beautiful.
Be alive. Just for a moment. Now.
It's the best feeling in the world.
Have a great week.
Be safe.Be blessed.
Much love!
