#mentalhealthmonday#mentalhealthawareness
Just a little bit.Sometimes that's all it takes.Sometimes that's all we have.Is it enough?Well, it's going to have to be.
We're not robots and we're not machines. Heck, I'm not sure we even know what we are, but our ability produce, and to interact, and to create has limits.
I'm sure we have all had moments where we did something along and got better at it. Something small that we did every day until it became almost a reflex. Driving, running, riding a bike, or something more complex, like writing, coding, or fixing machines.
When we do things often, we improve. The same goes for our mental health and who we are. If we show up daily, that is, do the things that are good for us and avoid the things that are not, then we improve. We get better.
If we put good things in our bodies daily, and exercise, and socialize, and get good rest every night; we are going to be better than if we don't do those things.
Does this mean we have to crush marathons daily, no. Does this mean we can't eat the foods we love? No.It just means that we have to show up every day and put in a modicum of effort towards our healing and our recovery.
It will not happen by itself. Want to know how I know that? Because you don't have to look for to find an example of what giving up looks like. We all know what giving up looks like.
Don't do it.
Don't give up.
Give a little bit, to yourself, every day.
Have a great week.
Stay #SavageAndWonderful
Much Love!
